Top 2024 St. Patrick's Day Celebrations - St. Louis, MO | Redkey Realty Leaders

St. Louis has strong Irish roots, and they'll be on festive display around the area on the weekend of St. Patrick's Day. With parades, festivals, and runs on the calendar, you'll have plenty to do and see whether you're Irish or simply Irish for the day. You're invited to deck yourself out in green and check out the following St. Patrick's Day events in the St. Louis area.

  • Dogtown St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Festival - 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2024
    Dogtown Neighborhood, St. Louis, MO

    Plan for a day filled with holiday fun at the Dogtown St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Festival. The festival kicks off at 9 a.m., and the parade gets underway at 11 a.m. when you can see floats that highlight Irish dancing, music, history, and culture. Many Irish Americans will march as clans under their colorful family crests and banners. The day also includes plenty of fun at the festival, including live music, food, local vendor booths, and family-friendly activities and games.

  • St. Patrick's Day Parade - noon, Saturday, March 16
    Downtown St. Louis, MO

    For the 55th time, the St. Patrick's Day Parade will work its way through downtown St. Louis as crowds that can top 250,000 spectators look on. You'll see floats, marching bands, thousands of marchers, huge character balloons, and plenty of clowns. To extend your fun and have a good location to watch from, set up a party tent or larger Irish clan tent along the parade route.

  • Michelob ULTRA St. Patrick's Day Run - 9 a.m. Saturday, March 16
    150 S. Broadway St., St. Louis, MO 63102

    Start your Saturday morning before St. Louis' parade begins by joining the Michelob ULTRA St. Patrick's Day Run through the downtown and midtown streets in the city. The run usually has more than 5,000 participants and includes a five-mile run and a 3K Shuffle. Some of the proceeds from the race will benefit the St. Patrick Center, which helps people who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.

  • Creve Coeur St. Paddy's Race ½ Marathon, 10K & 5K - March 16, 2024
    Sailboat Cove at Creve Coeur Park, 13725 Marine Ave., Maryland Heights, MO 63043

    Celebrate eight years of the Creve Coeur St. Paddy's Race by hitting the ground running in your choice of a half-marathon, 10K, or 5K in a route around the beautiful lake near Creve Coeur homes for sale. You'll earn a commemorative shirt or hoodie that you can (sham)rock by wearing as a humble brag of your accomplishment. And when you finish the race, you'll receive a pint glass, a shamrock sugar cookie, and a medal if you run the half-marathon.

  • St. Patrick's Day Parade - 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17
    Main Street, St. Charles, MO 63301
      A relatively new tradition, the St. Patrick's Day Parade in St. Charles has already become a popular family-oriented event organized by the city and the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH). Traversing Main Street, the parade takes a path near St. Charles homes for sale. Dress up in lots of green to watch the parade or buy a commemorative T-shirt or sweatshirt to wear. All proceeds from their sale will benefit local AOH charities.
