Inspired by their own jet-setting days, the owners of Winnie's Wine Bar designed a delightful travel theme to accent the interior. The centerpiece of the decor is a 3D map of the world, along with clocks displaying the time in various zones and some vintage propellers hanging on the walls. Even the tables are upcycled old suitcases! The innovative Coravin system allows guests to sample specific high-end wines without opening a bottle. Founded in 1859, Mount Pleasant is the oldest winery in the Augusta Appellation, the first federally approved wine-growing district in the country. One of the charming pink buildings on the campus is the oven house, where the bricks for the foundations and cellars were baked.
